Kiss cycle with use of chinese pieces. Judge Michal Dragoun was right when he criticised unprovided check (1...Bxf2+!), but I found no satisfying way for mating rook immobilization neutralised by key, so that it cannot mate in 1 before key. Well, now, during writing this, I got some ideas I hadn't in 1997 - maybe I'm better than I used to be... :-) The keys give the h4 flight, it is a part of mechanism, of course.

1...Mh4 2.Kc4 Kb5 3.Mh5 Kb4 4.Kc5# and 4.Kb3 Kc4#

4-fold echo! The tourney asked for the same theme by both White and Black. Here the same mate is given by both sides. When I learned the theme, I took this position from among my older unpublished positions - this stack is becoming larger as I'm becoming older - I believe it is the same with almost all active chess composers...

6-fold echo!! Although the mates aren't model as square between K and GS is guarded twice, it is considerable achievement.

In tries there is Nowotny by White four times parried by Nowotny by Black, with cyclical threats involving special deparalysing antibattery mates. In solution wQ paralyses black pawns and forces Black to play orgue pipes. Despite the fact that this composition is full of interesting themes, impression is rather mechanical. Never mind, I like it...

I managed to test it by computer in april 2003 and I had to add wSb1 to avoid second refutation to 1.c3? f4! 2.Rg3+ Bb1!!
